I use the projection method for capturing sunspot images. A sheet of
paper is taped to a board and laid against the house, A tripod holds
either a pair of binoculars or a small telescope and the image is
projected onto the paper. I then snap a picture with my digital camera
. Some brightness/contrast/sharpness changes are made in Adobe
Photoshop and the results are an okay image.
